T-REX has been dead

If this battle didn't send a clear message to Smack White to stop booking Rex as a top tier dude then it never will.
I can't disrespect T-Rex too much, he used to be nice. USED to be. Back when I first started watching this. He was one of the dudes that was hot and got me into it. However I have to say for the last few years now he's been very boring to listen to. Battlers have got a lot cleverer and creative with their bars and Rex has just stood still. His speed gun bars just don't cut it anymore and they haven't for a while, for me that's been clear way before this battle. So when I heard he was up against Clips I was a little shocked. Because it was a clear mismatch and Rex hasn't belonged to battles like this for ages let alone pretty much the best battler in the URL.
So the result was obvious and not surprising. Yet I still was disappointed. I suppose part of me thought Rex would put up a half decent fight but he got bodied SO bad. It wasn't his fault really. I kinda blame Smack for setting it up in the first place.
Now it's time for Rex to take a back seat. He's done. Maybe take up a role elsewhere in the URL or go back to the drawing board and come back with a new style, but I can't see THAT happening.
Clipse was on great form, he took all three rounds easily, and Rex really couldn't hide behind his grown man bars, cause they got tore the fuck down. No more top tier Rex anymore Smack. This battle tells you why.

[My Verdict: Clips by a landslide]
